Regulatory News:
CTP, Europe's largest listed developer, owner and operator of logistics and industrial real estate by gross lettable area (GLA), has leased 24,400 sqm at CTPark Bucharest South in Romania to Romstal, one of the country's leading distributors of construction installation equipment.
Romstal has leased this space within a 54,000 sqm facility at CTPark Bucharest South, which will support the company's logistics and distribution operations across Romania and the wider CEE region. For Romstal, the new space provides additional capacity in a well-connected industrial location, supporting the movement of a broad range of products across its network. The company's portfolio includes thermo, hydro, sanitary, electrical, and ceramic product categories, serving customers across the construction and installation sectors.
CTPark Bucharest South is one of the largest and fastest-growing industrial and logistics parks serving the Romanian capital. Located between Bucharest's existing ring road and the A0 motorway, the park provides direct access to key national and international transport routes, including the A2 motorway towards Constan?a, Romania's largest port on the Black Sea.
Designed to support logistics, distribution and light industrial occupiers, the park offers modern, scalable space alongside the ability for clients to expand within the location as their operational requirements evolve. The park's location also provides access to a large labour pool across Bucharest and the surrounding region, supporting occupiers with both recruitment and workforce retention.
Ronald Binkofski, MD of CTP Romania, said: "Romstal's decision to take space at CTPark Bucharest South reflects the continued demand we are seeing from established distributors for modern, scalable and well-connected logistics space around Bucharest. As companies look to consolidate operations, improve delivery times and build more resilient supply chains, access to high-quality space in strategic locations is more important than ever. CTPark Bucharest South offers the infrastructure, flexibility and local expertise that distribution-led businesses need to serve customers efficiently across Romania and the wider region. We continue to see strong demand from distributors looking to consolidate inventory, improve service levels and position themselves closer to major transport infrastructure."
The agreement further strengthens CTP's position in Romania, one of its largest markets. CTP's Romanian portfolio comprises more than 3.2 million sqm of logistics and industrial space across key logistics and manufacturing hubs, including in Bucharest, Timi?oara, Bra?ov, Sibiu, Craiova and Arad. Romania accounts for more than 3.2 million sqm of CTP's 14.8 million sqm European portfolio and remains one of the company's most important growth markets across Central and Eastern Europe.
Recent leasing activity has been supported by continued growth in domestic consumption, supply chain modernisation and increasing demand for strategically located distribution space from both domestic and international occupiers. Since April 2026 alone, CTP has signed more than 100,000 sqm of leases across Romania, while the wider business reported record demand in H1 2026, signing nearly 1.6 million sqm of leases.
