SAN DIEGO, Sept. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Neurocrine Biosciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: NBIX) today announced that Eiry W. Roberts, M.D., who previously served as Neurocrine's Chief Medical Officer and currently serves as a Strategic Advisor, will rejoin the Company's executive management team as Chief Medical Officer (CMO), effective immediately. By mutual agreement, Sanjay Keswani, M.D., will depart the Company.
Dr. Roberts served as Neurocrine's Chief Medical Officer from 2018 to 2025 and has continued to support the Company since that time as a Strategic Advisor. As CMO, Dr. Roberts led indication-expansion efforts for INGREZZA® and the crinecerfont development program that led to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval of CRENESSITY®. Before joining Neurocrine in 2018, Dr. Roberts spent 26 years at Eli Lilly and Company, where she held senior research and development roles, including Vice President, Research and Development. Dr. Roberts currently serves on the Board of Directors of Bausch Health Companies and previously served on the Board of Directors of Amicus Therapeutics until its acquisition by BioMarin Pharmaceutical in April 2026.
