The company's earnings totaled EUR218 million, or EUR0.81 per share. This compares with EUR225 million, or EUR0.77 per share, last year.
Excluding items, Fresenius Medical Care AG reported adjusted earnings of EUR303 million or EUR1.13 per share for the period.
The company's revenue for the period rose 1.4% to EUR4.861 billion from EUR4.792 billion last year.
