WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - QIAGEN N.V. (QGEN) on Wednesday reported higher second-quarter earnings, while the molecular diagnostics company reaffirmed its full-year 2026 outlook.
Net income for the quarter increased to $103.4 million, or $0.50 per share, from $96.3 million, or $0.44 per share, a year ago. Adjusted earnings rose to $0.62 per share from $0.60.
Net sales were $535.0 million, compared with $533.5 million in the prior-year quarter. Growth in Sample Technologies, Genomics/NGS and QuantiFERON sales was offset by declines in Diagnostic Solutions, PCR/Nucleic Acid Amplification and other product categories.
For fiscal 2026, QIAGEN reaffirmed its outlook for constant exchange rate net sales growth of about 1% to 2% and adjusted earnings of at least $2.43 per share.
For the third quarter, the company expects constant exchange rate sales growth of about 1% to 2% and adjusted earnings of at least $0.62 per share.
