SOLNA (dpa-AFX) - Skanska AB (SKA-B.ST, SKSBF), a construction and project development company, on Friday announced that it has signed a contract with a public client for a railroad improvement project in the northeastern United States.
The contract is worth $136 million, about SEK 1.3 billion.
The company said that the work has begun on the project, which is expected to be completed in December 2029.
The company said the contract will be included in its U.S. order bookings for the third quarter of 2026.
On Thursday, Skanska closed trading 1.75% lesser at SEK 258.40 on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
