DRONE VOLT, a French manufacturer of professional drones and a leading technology player in aerial robotics, announces strong growth in the operations of its subsidiary DRONE VOLT EXPERT, driven by the expansion of its service offerings, the development of its training business, and the international expansion of its "Drone as a Service" (DaaS) offering.
Sustained growth thanks to an optimized organizational structure
One of the key highlights of this development is DRONE VOLT EXPERT's ability to support this sharp increase in activity without increasing its workforce. In thefirsthalf of 2025, revenue for the DRONE VOLT FACTORY, SERVICES & ACADEMY division-in which DRONE VOLT EXPERT's activities account for 40%-rose by 24%, and the gross margin reached 58% (+2 points).
This performance is driven by continuous improvements to its operational organization, based in particular on:
- Optimized mission planning;
- Skill development among teams;
- Greater specialization among drone pilots, geomatics specialists, and trainers;
- Continuous improvement of operational processes;
- Seamless coordination between field operations and data processing.
This organizational structure now enables us to handle a rapidly growing volume of work while maintaining high standards of quality, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction.
This growth is reflected in top-tier operational performance
As an illustration of this growth, DRONE VOLT EXPERT acquired nearly 60,000 photographs over the course of a single month-an average of 900 images per site-analyzed 2,067 stockpiles, and conducted measurements totaling more than 2.26 million m³, representing an average volume of 33,259 m³ per report, equivalent to nearly 900 Olympic-sized swimming pools. 95% of reports were delivered in under 48 hours, demonstrating the robustness of the operational organization, the efficiency of the production chain, and the teams' ability to handle a growing volume of work while maintaining a high level of quality and responsiveness.
Nationwide coverage close to our customers
DRONE VOLT EXPERT is also continuing to expand its training business through a network of centers located in the heart of France's four most dynamic regions (Île-de-France, Hauts-de-France, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, and Nouvelle-Aquitaine).
This presence ensures nationwide coverage and enables the company to offer local training programs that meet the requirements of European regulations as well as the needs of businesses, professional operators, local governments, and emergency services.
A "Drone as a Service" Offering Expanding Rapidly Internationally
Alongside its expansion in France, DRONE VOLT EXPERT is accelerating the international rollout of its "Drone as a Service" (DaaS) offerings.
The Group now relies on a network of 18 in-house remote pilots, supplemented by more than 35 Ambassadors (qualified external operators), spread across several countries, including France. This constantly evolving network is strengthened by the ongoing training and certification of new operators and partners, enabling the Group to gradually expand the geographic coverage of its services and support customers across borders.
This strategy enables DRONE VOLT to respond quickly and closely to its customers' needs, while drawing on local expertise that meets the same standards of quality, safety, and operational requirements as those applied by the Group.
A Regional Network Designed for Performance
This regional network, which spans both national and international markets, constitutes a major competitive advantage. It enables the rapid mobilization of operational resources, reduces response times, optimizes deployment costs, and ensures consistent service quality across all covered regions.
This organizational structure provides the Group with great flexibility to support major clients in the energy, infrastructure, telecommunications, industrial, defense, and civil security sectors, wherever their projects are deployed.
This strategy will be gradually rolled out within the Group's two international subsidiaries: DRONE VOLT Canada in North America and DRONE VOLT Denmark in Northern Europe. DRONE VOLT thus aims to accelerate the expansion of its "Drone as a Service" offering, strengthen its presence in international markets, and sustainably support the growth of its high-value-added service activities.
A Value-Creating Growth Model
The simultaneous development of service provision, training, and the international "Drone as a Service" offering reaffirms DRONE VOLT's strategy to increase the share of high-value-added services within its business. These activities already accounted for 71% of revenue and 94% of gross margin in thefirsthalf of 2026.
This model enables the Group to:
- Generate recurring revenue;
- Continue its growth in France and internationally;
- Meet rising demand without a proportional increase in fixed costs;
- Gradually improve its productivity and profitability.
DRONE VOLT now has an agile, scalable, and capital-efficient organization capable of sustainably supporting its customers' growth while enhancing its value creation.
Marc Courcelle, CEO of DRONE VOLT, stated:
"The momentum we've seen in recent months confirms the effectiveness of our growth strategy. The growth of our service and training operations, combined with the international expansion of our 'Drone as a Service' offering, demonstrates DRONE VOLT's ability to meet our customers' expectations with a high level of expertise and responsiveness. The ongoing development of our network of qualified operators is a growth driver that enables us to expand our international presence while maintaining an agile and competitive structure."
