Newport Gold Inc.: NWPG Completes Cancellation of 24,800,000 Shares of Common Stock, Reducing Outstanding Share Count

Completed Share Cancellation Reduces Float, Reinforcing Management's Commitment to Shareholder Value

NORTH EAST, PA / ACCESS Newswire / August 21, 2026 / Newport Gold, Inc. (OTCID:NWPG), operating through its subsidiary NFI Empire (NFIEmpire.com), a custom automotive build and restoration company building a digital marketplace for buying and selling cars online, today announced the completion of the previously disclosed cancellation of 24,800,000 shares of its Common Stock, which have now been formally returned to the Company's treasury.

As announced on June 4, 2026, the Company had finalized an agreement with a stockholder to cancel up to 24,800,000 shares of Common Stock back to treasury. That process has now been completed in full, permanently retiring the shares from the Company's issued and outstanding share count. NWPG - Newport Gold, Inc. | Security Details | OTC Markets

"This completed cancellation reflects our team's ongoing commitment to building long-term value for every NWPG shareholder," said Justin Fried, CEO and Co-Founder of Newport Gold. "Reducing our share count without any compensation to the cancelling stockholder is a clear signal of insider confidence in where this Company is headed."

This action follows Newport Gold's continued execution of its strategic growth plan, including its merger with NFI Empire Group of Companies and ongoing expansion of its automotive, data, and digital technology operations.
