Alpha Teknova Inc. (TKNO)
Alpha Teknova deals with the manufacture of critical reagents used in the life science industry.
The company's stock rose to a 52-week high of $9.35 on Wednesday.
Last week, the company introduced the Fill-Tek Dispensing System for essential custom reagents, designed to ease bioprocessing workflows.
In the second quarter of this year, Teknova reported total revenues of $12.2 million, up 18% from the previous year.
Moderna Inc. (MRNA)

AtriCure Inc. (ATRC)
AtriCure provides various technologies to treat Atrial fibrillation or Afib, which is an irregular heart rhythm originating in the upper heart chambers known as atria.
Shares reached a 52-week high of $65.48 on Wednesday.
Among the company's products is the Isolator Synergy surgical ablation system, used to repair faulty atrial walls that cause Afib. The system was the first medical device for treating persistent Afib that received FDA approval. On this day in 1869, Mary Mallon, popularly known as 'Typhoid Mary' was born. Mallon was a home cook employed by several residences around the New York City area in the early 20th century. She was an asymptomatic carrier of the Salmonella typhi bacterium, and infected at least 51 people through her cooking, leading to at least 3 deaths. She was eventually caught and isolated in a home till her death in 1938. Her case remains a fascinating study in epidemiology and disease population analyses.
