If you want to prepare for an exciting career in animation, game development, 3D modeling, digital audio technology or software, computer or digital arts engineering, then don’t miss this chance to visit one of the Bay Area’s premier schools and learn how to get a bachelor degree in these majors.
Cogswell’s Open House is your chance to talk to faculty and advisors, see demos of student work, tour the campus, talk to students and learn about our bachelor degree programs through interactive classroom presentations. Special sessions will be offered on financial aid, the admission process and building an outstanding portfolio.
In the afternoon art lovers and serious students of art have the chance to witness the creation of a larger-than-life figure drawing on an 8’ by 15’ canvas. Acclaimed author and artist, Michael Mattesi, developed the concept.
“For the last four or five years, I have wanted to do a large painting of a figure and thought it would make an interesting performance piece,” said Mattesi. “I want to thank Cogswell College for hosting the event so my idea could become tangible. I hope the audience will be as intrigued and engaged as I will be during this challenge.”
