The First Cast event launches on March 1 at select Gander Mountain locations, giving anglers of all ages and skill levels an early opportunity at the best deals of the season and much more. During the First Cast event, Gander Mountain customers can:
- Participate in fishing seminars designed to educate anglers of all experience levels and hosted by Gander Mountain's expert anglers.
- Register to win one of ten $2,000 Gander Mountain shopping sprees or one of three unique fishing adventures to Canada, Key West or Texas.
- Experience the latest in new hi-definition Sonar/GPS combos with side and down imaging technology that allows anglers to literally see the bottom of the lake.

In addition, customers can enter to win one of three unique fishing adventures by visiting GanderMtn.com/sweepstakes/firstcast through the end of the month. Select dates at every Gander Mountain during the First Cast event will feature the first 250 customers per day, per store receiving a scratch-off card with discounts of between 10 percent and 50 percent off the purchase of any fishing products that day.
