TrueMotion VP7 provides the world's best-quality video compression. It produces better quality video, at datarates ranging from ultra-low resolution to hi-def, than VP6, H.264, Real 10, Windows Media 9, DivX, and every variant of MPEG-4 on the market.

In the tests, PSNR (peak signal-to-noise ratio) comparisons show that TrueMotion VP7 holds a substantial advantage over Windows Media 9, Real 10, DivX, MPEG-4 and H.264. PSNR comparisons are the most widely used objective measure of video quality.
Improvements over VP6 include: - Up to 50% better quality - Less ringing artifacts - Better datarate control - Better cut-scene detection - Smoother motion video
The first release of TrueMotion VP7 will be a full-featured product. It will offer:
