The Fashion House, Inc. (OTCBB:FHHI), a designer and
distributor of women's footwear for leading fashion brands, has
expanded its previously announced exclusive worldwide licensing
agreement with Bill Blass Ltd. to design, manufacture and distribute
footwear with the addition of two additional footwear lines to be
manufactured and sold under the Bill Blass name.
Under the extended agreement, The Fashion House will design and manufacture footwear under the labels Bill Blass Collection and Blassport. The Fashion House will debut both collections in 2007.
The addition of the two collections significantly extends an existing exclusive license agreement between The Fashion House and Bill Blass. Under the previously announced agreement, The Fashion House launched collections under the high-end Bill Blass Couture and the better priced Blass Bill Blass line. The Fashion House launched those lines in February at the World Shoe Association show in Las Vegas for a fall 2006 debut at retail.
The newly licensed Bill Blass Collection is a bridge line that is targeted at fashion-conscious women who seek sophisticated styles. The Blassport line will address the market for younger women with active lifestyles, who desire fashionable and functional footwear.
The Bill Blass Couture line targets retailers who carry the Bill Blass Couture apparel offerings. Blass Bill Blass is a diffusion line, targeting better price points that will be distributed at department stores and specialty footwear retailers.
