announced today that its CombiMatrix group's wholly-owned subsidiary
CombiMatrix Molecular Diagnostics (CMDX) has established a new
facility in the world-class MaRS Discovery District in downtown
Toronto.

Dr. Mohammed has been at the forefront of research and development in the fields of Comparative Genomic Hybridization (CGH) and microarray technologies for his entire professional career. Between 2001 and 2003 he produced the world's first commercially viable whole genome BAC array and co-authored one of its seminal clinical applications. He later directed the Advanced Technologies and Genomics program at Quest Diagnostics Inc, North America's largest commercial clinical laboratory. He is an internationally renowned scientist, speaker, and author and holds multiple patents in the fields of clinical genomics and microarray technology.
