DALLAS, June 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Match.com today announced the extension of its global relationship with MSN. The multi-year agreement expands the companies' existing partnership, which began in 2000. The MSN Dating and Personals service(1) powered by Match.com attracts more than 30 million visitors in 30 MSN markets(2) each month worldwide.

As part of the relationship, Match.com is making platform technology investments to integrate with core MSN and Windows Live services such as MSN Search, MSN Messenger, MSN Spaces and the MSN.com home page. The MSN Dating and Personals service will continue to provide MSN visitors access to the full suite of Match.com services, including:

* Match.com, the number one site for love with more than 15 million members worldwide and more marriages than any other site; * The new Chemistry.com, the fastest-growing relationship site on the Web, which combines the latest research about the science of human attraction and the power of face-to-face meetings to help people find the right person to build a life with; and * Unique content and articles from Match.com's award-winning writers and dating and relationship experts.

Match.com Chief Executive Officer Jim Safka said the expanded agreement is proof that MSN shares Match.com's enthusiasm for the relationship and that both companies are committed to creating an unmatched user experience based on world-class technology.

"Match.com and MSN have a shared goal of helping people connect with each other," he said. "We all want to find the right person to share our life with, no matter where we live or what language we speak. Our long-term alliance with MSN is incredibly important to our business and, more importantly, to the people that trust us to help them in their search."
