Columbus Children's Hospital Expands Use of Streamline Health's Document Workflow Solutions

CINCINNATI, Nov. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Streamline Health Solutions, Inc. , a leading provider of integrated document management and workflow solutions, today announced that Columbus Children's Hospital will expand their document management solutions, utilizing Streamline Health's remote hosting services. Columbus Children's Hospital plans to implement Streamline Health's complete Health Information Management (HIM) Suite across their enterprise. As part of this implementation, Streamline Health's solutions will be integrated with the hospital's current Epic clinical systems for easy and secure electronic document access to complete patient information.

As one of the five largest pediatric hospitals in the nation and a top ten National Institute of Health-funded freestanding pediatric research center, Columbus Children's Hospital, based in Columbus, Ohio, is dedicated to offering the highest quality healthcare. This 323-bed nationally-recognized leader in pediatric healthcare will deploy Streamline Health's Health Information Management Suite, enabling Children's to enhance operational efficiencies and advance patient care.

AccessANYware(TM): Provides enterprise access to a patient's medical and financial records to coordinate better patient care. Completion Workflow: Expedites the completion of the medical record, including secure remote reviewing and electronic signature by physicians. Coding Workflow: Improves coding turnaround time by prioritizing and pushing work tasks to staff coders on campus or in remote locations, including home-based employees. Release of Information Workflow: Facilitates efficient compliance with requests for patient information from third party requestors. Chart Tracking Workflow: Provides the ability to track and manage paper or other hard copy media charts. RegScan(TM): Captures insurance cards, driver's licenses, and consent forms at the point of registration. Document Capture Solutions: Deliver high speed production scanning and automatic indexing as well as departmental document capture and management.
