One of the first MIPS32(R) and MIPS64(R) architecture customers and an early adopter of MIPS' core technology, Broadcom will license the entire range of MIPS32 processor cores to power next-generation products for business, service provider and consumer markets.

Broadcom has licensed the entire array of industry-leading MIPS32 processor cores, which consist of the following product lines:
34K(TM) Family -- The first MIPS(R) cores to exploit multi-threading for embedded applications, the 34K family delivers significant gains in system performance and cost savings, with a very modest increase in die size.
