CEOcast, Inc., a leading online financial portal and investor relations firm, announced today that it has conducted an interview with Michael Guirlinger, CEO of Language Access Network (OTC:LANW), a leader in video interpretation services. In the interview which is available at www.ceocast.com, Mr. Guirlinger disclosed for the first time publicly that Language Access Network has entered into a Trial Interpretation Services Agreement, under which CVS/pharmacy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CVS Corporation (NYSE:CVS), America's largest retail pharmacy, will install Language Access Network's Martti in a minimum of three and as many as thirteen CVS stores in the New York and New Jersey area. All of the locations are within a 45 minutes drive of New York City.
"This agreement with CVS represents a milestone event for our company, said Mr. Guirlinger in the interview. "CVS operates more than 6,200 retail and specialty pharmacy stores in 43 states and the District of Columbia. We are confident that its pharmacies and customers will receive the benefits that leading medical centers and other pharmacies have already enjoyed, as Martti has demonstrated the ability to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction. A successful result here may lead to adoption by other CVS pharmacies in the New York tri-state area and throughout the country.
Language Access Network provides live video interpretation service in over 150 languages, including American Sign Language (ASL) through a service known as Martti (My Accessible Real-Time Trusted Interpreter). The service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
