AmberPoint today announced its support for Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2, the latest version of Microsoft Corp.'s services oriented architecture (SOA) and business process management (BPM) server. The combination of AmberPoint's SOA runtime governance software and Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2 enables organizations to achieve comprehensive management capabilities as they connect core business processes across applications, platforms and partners.

Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2 provides customers the ability to connect real-time business processes and leverage intelligent RFID data. As a result of agreement between the two companies, customers of both companies will be able to fully take advantage of the capabilities of these complementary products for enterprise-class SOA systems and BPM initiatives.
