NCC Property Development (STO:NCCA)(STO:NCCB) has sold the Malmo Parkeringsljuset 1 property at Toftanas Retail Park in eastern Malmo to Redevco Sweden AB. The divestment will take the form of the sale of a company. The transaction will generate a profit, which will be reported during the third quarter of 2007. The purchaser will gain access to the properties on September 21, 2007.
At Toftanas, NCC Property Development has developed two retail properties comprising a total of 4,800 square meters of retail space focusing on the consumer discretionary sector. The buildings are part of the larger Toftanas retail park area. Other retail properties are being developed by other parties.
The properties are already fully leased to such tenants as Blomsterlandet, Beckers Nya Hembutikerna, Hemmabutikerna and BoConcept.
"The successful development and sale of the new retail park shows that our effort to become the leading property developer in the Swedish retail segment is right on track," says Joachim Hallengren, Head of NCC Property Development in Sweden.
The purchase consideration will be paid when the purchaser gains access to the property.
