PARIS, January 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext and NYSE: ALU) will hold a live web press conference on Thursday January 21, 2010 to announce groundbreaking technology in the next-generation intelligent optical core which will significantly cut the cost of transporting dramatically increasing volumes of traffic with exceptional reliability.
