CQ 5.3 WCM adds enhanced support for campaign management and optimization. Marketers can now easily schedule campaigns and target promotions in real-time based on customer site visit behavior. With new Multi-Variant Testing (MVT) support, CQ 5.3 empowers every online marketer to optimize campaign promotions and drive higher conversion rates without having to rely on a highly-trained specialist. CQ 5.3 also raises the bar on fun-of-use with dozens of new enhancements, including first-of-its kind in-place web copy editing for a best-in-class web publishing experience.
Digital Asset Management
CQ 5.3 DAM provides Marketing new support for building a Web 2.0 experience for site visitors to browse and access an online library of marketing assets. New lightbox supports enables site to easily build pick lists of marketing assets - including presentation slides, documents, images, videos, and more - and download as a ZIP file. New drag-and-drop components for uploading, tagging, commenting, and rating assets enable Marketing to open up digital libraries for community-generated content. CQ 5.3 DAM also enriches customer experience with MediaRSS support to provide three-dimensional visualization and fly-over navigation of large libraries of digital assets leveraging external service provider CoolIris.
Social Collaboration
Social Collaboration adds new support for Social Calendaring. With an enhanced drag-and-drop calendar component, online marketers can now easily create and target different displays of upcoming events, including daily, weekly, monthly, and agenda views. Social Calendaring now includes automatic RSS feeds and iCal event subscription and to enable easy out-of-the-box synchronization with personal and corporate calendars.
Targeting
New with CQ 5.3, Targeting empowers online marketers with new drag-and-drop tools to quickly define customer segmentation targets and rules. Targeting provides a rich library of potential segmentation criteria for both anonymous site visitors and known, registered users. Support for external site browser history, geo-location, and observed site preferences enables easy segmentation of even anonymous visitors to drive targeted promotions. For repeat visitors, profile-based criteria such as age, gender, past site visit history and many others further enhance marketing's ability deliver highly tailored home page and landing page promotions to reach their target audiences.
