SurfKitchen Powered Storefront Delivers an Intuitive and Compelling User Experience for Mobile Internet Applications and Services
SurfKitchen today announced the availability of a unique storefront experience to discover and purchase new content for T-Mobile USA customers using the Nokia 7510. SurfKitchen's mobile Internet platform technology is intended to help deliver a consistent and compelling user experience for mobile Internet applications and services.
"We're always looking at new ways to improve the customer experience for both mobile web and purchasing content - things that are still challenges today on many feature phones," said Ian McKerlich, director, mobile web and content services, T-Mobile USA. "We're pleased to be working with Surfkitchen to create an experience that helps consumers discover and purchase new content on their mobile device."
To facilitate mobile content and service usage, SurfKitchen's mobile Internet platform technology will be used to streamline and enhance the purchasing experience, leveraging SurfKitchen's unique cross-platform support.
"The delivery of mobile Internet services is an increasingly critical element of operators' revenue growth strategies and we are delighted to be working with T-Mobile USA on this deployment," said Michel Quazza, chief executive officer, SurfKitchen. "T-Mobile USA's web2go storefront combines a diverse and compelling range of mobile Internet applications and services that mobile subscribers are demanding."
To streamline the deployment, SurfKitchen's mobile Internet platform technology integrated with T-Mobile USA's existing content providers and platforms. Launched in December 2009, a select group of existing T-Mobile USA customers received the update enabling them to take advantage of this version of the storefront.
