Immersive Customer Experience at Events in Chicago and Berlin to be Powered by Apple iPads
Day Software Holding AG (SIX: DAYN, OTCQX: DYIHY), a leading provider of content management and content infrastructure software, today opened registration for its upcoming Day Ignite 2010 Global Customer Summit in Chicago and Berlin at http://www.day.com/ignite. Following Day's pre-release introduction at Day Ignite 2009 of its new CQ 5.3 release, Day will introduce its latest product advancements at Day Ignite 2010 this October 13th and 14th in Chicago and November 2nd and 3rd in Berlin.
Day will be showcasing its latest customer successes in multi-channel marketing, eCommerce, and customer self-service. Chief Technology Officer David Nuescheler will also be giving a sneak peek at Day's cutting-edge innovations in the area of social, mobile, and tablet computing. Nuescheler will also be highlighting Day's continuing technology advancements in standards like CMIS and marketing and IT agility with an exciting array of Cloud-hosted offerings.
To optimize social networking and overall customer experience at the event, Day will be providing all summit attendees with complimentary, personal Apple iPads. iPads are included as part of registration to minimize use of printed collateral and ensure dynamic, personalized, up-to-date event information directly via their iPad. Powered by Day CQ5, Day's Ignite 2010 microsite will enable each attendee to view the conference schedule, including speaker bios, presentations, and profiles, and provide real-time commentary, photos, and videos of the event using Twitter and YouTube. Leveraging CQ5 Social Collaboration, attendees can also login to the Day Ignite microsite to learn more about their peers at the event and participate in ad-hoc online conversations during track sessions to promote social networking and community building at breaks and evening events.
"We want to provide our customers an outstanding Day Ignite experience, and to do that, we are not only announcing innovative new technology at the event, but an innovative approach to community engagement," said Kevin Cochrane, Chief Marketing Officer at Day Software. "As we grow our global customer community, leveraging our support of tablet devices, like Apple's iPad, to promote social networking and ad-hoc conversations will help our customers and partners build new relationships and gain new learnings. And, as a showcase for some of our new innovations in the area of social, mobile, and tablet computing, each attendee's personal iPad will provide an immersive experience for the latest advancements from Day."
Apple iPads are complimentary gifts with event registration. iPads can be returned to Day after the event for donation to a local school district. Capacity is limited for both events. Early registration and full program details can be found online at http://www.day.com/ignite.
