IT Agility Cup:CRX 2.1 Composite Content Applications
The successor to Day Software's JCR Cup, the IT Agility Cup is open to all JCR and CMIS developers downloading Day's newly released ECM platform for agile, composite content application development, CRX 2.1. Developers downloading CRX 2.1 are encouraged to share their innovative applications with the Day CRX community using Day's new Cloud-hosted service, PackageShare. Award categories for the IT Agility Cup include:
- Innovative CMIS Application. Submissions in this category are for those entries leveraging CRX 2.1's CMIS support to mobilize assets from disparate enterprise repositories into a new Web-based customer experience.
- Innovative JCR 2.0 Application. Submissions in this category are for those entries leveraging CRX 2.1's RESTful JSR-283 support to showcase integration of external applications and/or Cloud-hosted services to support an online business.
- Innovative Mobile Application. Submissions in this category are for those entries delivering unique solutions for any mobile or tablet device.
The IT Agility Cup is open to all JCR and CMIS developers worldwide, including any member of the Apache Jackrabbit, Sling or Chemistry communities. Marketing Agility Cup:CQ5 Multi-channel Solutions
New for 2010, Day introduces the Marketing Agility Cup for business leaders leveraging Day's CQ5 suite to drive business transformation with unique solutions for multi-channel customer experience. Award categories for the Marketing Agility Cup include:
- Innovative Multi-Channel Marketing. Submissions for this category include innovative use of CQ5 to build customer awareness and drive customer engagement through social media, email, print, mobile and Web channels.
- Innovative Multi-Channel Commerce. Submissions for this category include innovative use of CQ5 to drive new revenue through mobile phones and tablet devices.
- Innovative Multi-Channel Customer Service. Submissions for this category include innovative use of CQ5 to enable customer self-service and drive customer loyalty and retention through the Web, email and mobile devices.
The Marketing Agility Cup is open to all members of the Day CQ5 community. Day technology and channel partners responsible for an overall CQ5 multi-channel solution will also jointly be recognized and awarded in the Marketing Agility Cup for this contribution to Day CQ5 customer success.
Community Participation
Submissions for both the 2010 IT and Marketing Agility Cup are now open. Day CRX 2.1 and CQ5 community members are encouraged to participate by providing both submissions and community reviews of award entries. Award winners will be notified by Day in September 2010 and publicly showcased and recognized at Day's annual global customer summit, Day Ignite 2010, in Chicago this October 13 and 14, and in Berlin this November 2 and 3.
