Crowflight Announces September Production Results; Appoints Rick Sproule as Vice President of Geology

TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 10/21/10 -- CROWFLIGHT MINERALS INC. ("Crowflight" or the "Company") (TSX: CML) today announces its production results for the month of September 2010 from the Bucko Lake Nickel Mine (Bucko) located in the Thompson Nickel Belt near Wabowden, Manitoba.

Bucko Production Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the month of September are as follows:

Tonnes mined:                           14,330
Tonnes processed:                       14,011
Grade:                                  1.25% Ni
Tonnes per day (tpd) mined:             478
Tonnes per day (tpd) processed:         467
Mill performance:                       46.7% (of 1,000 tpd target)
Nickel concentrate produced:            997 tonnes
Nickel concentrate grade:               13.35%
Contained pounds of nickel:             295,937
Recovery:                               76.18%

As previously announced, the mill at the Bucko Mine was unavailable for a period of six days during early September for regularly scheduled maintenance that included relining of the nickel concentrator rod mill, thereby impacting production for the month. On October 1st, the Company announced the temporary suspension of ore production mining operations at the Bucko Lake Nickel Mine to facilitate the introduction of its own underground mining equipment and team and to make readjustments to address certain operational issues.

Appointment of Vice President of Geology

As well, Crowflight announces the appointment of Rick Sproule to Vice President of Geology for Crowflight. Rick has served as the Company's Chief Geologist for the Bucko Lake Nickel Mine since 2009.

Rick has over 34 years of experience in exploration and geology, with a specific focus on base metals, uranium and gold. He was previously the Senior/Chief Mine Geologist at Goldcorp's Red Lake Mine for eight years. Prior to that, he also worked for Kinross Gold as Mine Geologist and has served on the Board of Directors for various junior mining and exploration companies. Rick has spent a number of years as a consulting geologist handling a portfolio of exploration projects including nickel exploration and evaluation. He holds a Bachelor of Science in geology from Dalhousie University.

Crowflight welcomes Rick to the management team.
