inMotion Air offers true wireless freedom with the help of aptX, the de facto audio codec for hi-fi quality stereo over Bluetooth connectivity
CONSUMER ELECTRONICS SHOW CSR plc (LSE:CSR) today announces that respected audio innovator Altec Lansing, a brand with strong heritage in consumer audio, is using CSR's aptX audio CODEC technology to achieve hi-fi quality sound in its new Bluetooth wireless speaker, the inMotion Air. This attractive new speaker design combines portability and convenience with the room-filling sound of a high-end stereo system. CSR aptX has enabled Altec Lansing to achieve its goal of offering uncompromising sound quality with no cables, no docks and no complications.
The inMotion Air will allow consumers to stream music wirelessly from their iPhones, iPads, or a wide range of other Bluetooth A2DP compatible media devices in full hi-fi sound quality, thanks to aptX technology from CSR.
