It is comprised of two screens, an e-paper and LCD screen for easy multitasking, and it folds a full 360 degrees while orienting its displays horizontally or vertically to view as a book, laptop or only one screen. The E-Ink screen is Wacom Penabled, allowing for easy annotation, highlighting or note-taking in e-books with an included stylus.
With the enTourage eDGe, users experience a controlled eco-system, from enTourage Systems' unique e-book store, to device sharing and document back-up on enTourage Systems' servers – keeping the user environment complete and safe. To-date, enTourage Systems has secured more than 250,000 trade books and hundreds of New York Times best sellers, in addition to the more than one million free public domain books digitized by Google, that are all available at its e-book store. The device also runs on the Google Android operating system.

With a solid reputation in the industry as a long-standing, high-quality program, the AOE recognizes both the "best of the best" and creative new offerings that help educators in the business of teaching, training and managing with technology.
