Purchase intentions are not the only way to rank makes of vehicles. By subtracting the percent of consumers who detract from a vehicle's reputation from those who would actively promote it, you can evaluate the strength of the make's image by Net Promoter Score*. When it comes to recommending vehicles to friends and family, the top rated vehicles by NPS are Subaru, Lexus, Honda, Acura and Infiniti. This shows that Subaru owners are the most likely to recommend their vehicle to friends, family and colleagues, and Lexus owners are also likely to promote their vehicles.
