OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 06/13/11 -- Robert Ireland, CEO of Next Alternative, Inc. (XETRA: N4H), is pleased to announce that the firm has been busy designing plans which allows it to collaborate with the First Nations of Canada.
Next Alternative (NAI) will be setting up several pilot projects on First Nation reserves that will increase industry and generate business and revenue for the groups. NAI emulsion plants are to be erected and the reserves will then have the ability to manufacture and sell Emulsion Fuel. NAI plans to commence three of these pilot projects in the next 60 days. These special projects are in conjunction with several companies and fall under Federal and Provincial programs, therefore the participants will enjoy coverage for most of the costs. NAI plans to install 31 plants this year with projected revenue of $22 million.
According to Elijah Harper, NAI's VP of Government Operations, "We are thrilled to join forces with the First Nations in an effort to assist them with industry growth." He continued, "By providing these groups with the means to manufacture and sell emulsion fuel, we not only help in their plight to become more fiscally independent, we also expand Next Alternative's reach and promote eco-friendly solutions. It is a most favorable situation all the way around."
