Company Adds Locations, Staff, Capabilities and Government Contract Vehicles to Meet Rising Demand for IT Products and Services in the Government and Healthcare Verticals
Red River, a widely recognized national leader in providing IT products and services to government and healthcare sectors, today announced that it is experiencing its fastest rate of growth since the Company was founded. Fueled in part by a dramatic increase in contract and procurement vehicles with a number of government agencies, the Company has recognized double-digit growth in year-over-year top-line revenue between 2009 and 2010. Red River has also seen expansion in multiple sectors of its business in 2011, from product and services offerings to employee hiring and facility expansion.
"In order to serve the needs of our government customers, Red River has actively built-out a bids and proposals practice that has been awarded significant contracts within the last 12 months," said Jeff Sessions, senior vice president of sales and marketing. "This expansion has allowed Red River to broaden its contract portfolio from major government-wide acquisition contracts (GWACs) to include multiple agency specific BPAs. Prominent wins include vehicles at the FDA, Patent and Trademark Office, and the State Department."
Red River is hiring and has filled many key positions in 2011. The Company now has multiple, new, management and director-level positions covering East Coast and West Coast sales, healthcare, systems integrators, support services, and strategic programs. Red River has also launched a new product and services offering within its unified communications and collaboration practice around telework. The customizable hardware, software and services solutions, known as Red River Telework Kits (RTKs), removes the technical and support obstacles to enabling the many benefits of teleworking for organizations of any size. Other new solution offerings are in the works, as the company looks to leverage its capabilities and experience in data center transformation and cloud computing.
In addition, Red River has been expanding its facilities and adding new offices. The Company now has critical staff and resources across the United States including Burlington, Vt.; Baltimore, Md.; Claremont, NH; Reston and Virginia Beach, Va; Tampa, Fla. and San Francisco, Calif.
"All of our people are strategically located to be near key customers," said Dan McGee, Red River's senior vice president of operations. "With offices in the Washington, D.C. area, as well as in California, Florida, and Colorado, we have the staff in place on a national scale to quickly respond, in person if need be, to any client need."
