Business Wire will celebrate its 50th anniversary on October 2nd, which Houston Mayor Annise Parker has proclaimed "Business Wire Day" in the City of Houston.

To commemorate the anniversary, Business Wire's Houston bureau will co-sponsor PRSA Houston's PR Day 2011.
