OKMETIC OYJ CONCLUDES SHARE REPURCHASE PROGRAMME
Okmetic Oyj has completed the repurchase programme which began on 16 August 2011. Based on an existing authorisation of the extraordinary general meeting on 6 November 2008 Okmetic Oyj has repurchased 240,865 own shares which corresponds to approximately 1.4 percent of the total number of Okmetic shares.
The shares have been repurchased with the company's distributable assets and the repurchase decreases the company's distributable equity by 1,147,375.32 euro. The shares have been repurchased in a proportion other than that of the shares held by the shareholders through public trading on the NASDAQ OMX Helsinki Oy at market price prevailing at the time of repurchase. The average purchase price per share was 4.76 euro.
The repurchased shares may be used in developing the company's capital structure, as compensation in possible corporate acquisitions or in other business arrangements, as part of the company's incentive plan or transferred or cancelled in other ways.
Currently, the company holds a total of 297,576 company's own shares.
