Nevado Resources Corporation (TS: VDO) is a Canadian junior resource company engaged in the exploration of mineral resource properties. The company owns 2,318 mineral claims in the Baie Comeau, Fermont and Eastern Townships regions of Quebec, Canada. Nevado is currently focused on advancing the La Blache Iron-Titanium-Vanadium Project in the Baie Comeau region towards National Instrument 43-101 mineral resources and development. VDO activities focus on the exploration of mineral properties for commercial production. Nevado does not currently operate any properties. VDO holds 100% interest in five mining properties. All properties are located in Quebec. The Corporation owns 646 claims / 355 km2 in the La Blache Iron-Titanium-Vanadium Property.
In November 2011 Nevado completed the first phase of intensive exploration on its properties located near Fermont (Quebec) and between Fire Lake and Mont Reed near the Arcelor Mittal deposits. The presence of type DSO (Direct Shipping Ore) Iron deposits is favourable on these properties. A High resolution magnetic geophysical airborne survey of 6000 km was performed supported by a ground campaign of professional prospectors and geologists. Results from this program are expected at the beginning of Q1 2012.
