Mr Philippe Joubert has decided to relinquish his Deputy Chief Executive Officer mandate of Alstom (Paris:ALO) and his position in Alstom Executive Committee. The Board of Directors has taken note of his decision which is effective as of today.
Mr Philippe Joubert has decided to devote himself to personal activities related to long-term strategies, environment and sustainable development, and non-profit initiatives.
Considering his experience of Alstom's industry and his knowledge of the Group, M. Patrick Kron has asked him among his activities to become his advisor on specific matters including environment and sustainable development.
Mr Patrick Kron thanks Mr Philippe Joubert for the major role he played in the Group's turnaround and development. Mr Philippe Joubert joined Alstom in 1986 and held key positions in the Group, including President of Hydro, Transport and Alstom in Brazil, President of the T&D sector, President of the Power sector, and ultimately Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Alstom.
