ST. LOUIS, Feb. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- As a national coalition of universities that has championed diversity in higher education for almost half a century, The Consortium for Graduate Study in Management hopes the Supreme Court upholds its groundbreaking decision in Grutter v. Bollinger (2003). In deeming race to be a valid consideration in admissions decisions, the Court recognized the inherent value of diversity on university campuses. We believe the decision in Grutter was the right decision, both legally and morally, and we hope that the Court does not undermine the nation's progress in this area by turning back the clock.
