February 22nd, 2012 - Geneva, Switzerland: Advanced Digital Broadcast, (www.adbglobal.com (http://www.adbglobal.com/undefined/)) a leading supplier of advanced solutions for the connected home, announced today that it is delivering the ADB-2840C high definition set-top box to Belgium's VOO (http://www.voo.be/fr/tv/) for their digital television services. The product offers high definition interactive TV, with the Carbo(TM) (http://www.adbglobal.com/solutions/hd-user-experience.html) software stack and award winning user interface for a compelling, easy to use personal TV experience. Carbo is already live on several networks worldwide.

Carbo is a complete portable pay-TV user interface including optimized high definition features and integrated open standard APIs for 3rd party applications. It incorporates an array of options, whilst at the same time delivering a rich TV viewing experience. Its speed, intuitiveness and ease-of-use make it simple for VOO's subscribers to enjoy all existing services on offer. The Voobox is integrated with the Carbo Advanced software package allowing VOO to implement additional features in the future, such as:

  • USB recording & Time-shift
  • Video on Demand (VOD)
  • Web Applications
  • Home Network Media Player
