Zwolle, 14 March 2012 - Wavin, Europe's leading supplier of plastic pipe systems and solutions, today announces the availability of the agenda for the Annual General Meeting of shareholders (AGM). The related documents, including the Annual Report 2011 and the proposals for the amendment of the Wavin Articles of Association are available at the Investor Relations chapter of the Wavin corporate website (www.wavin.com) as of today.
The AGM will be held on Wednesday, 25 April 2012 beginning at 14.00 hours at the Rosarium, Amstelpark 1 (1083 HZ) Amsterdam.
In addition to the usual AGM topics, the agenda includes an explanation of the public offer by Mexichem Soluciones Integrales Holding, S.A. de C.V. for all issued and outstanding ordinary shares in the capital of Wavin.
In relation with this, the agenda also includes the conditional appointment of Mr. Capdepón Acquaroni as a member of the Management Board and the conditional appointment of Mr. Hepkema, Mr. Gutiérrez Muñoz, Mr. Del Valle Perochena and Mr. van Halderen as members of the Supervisory Board. All these appointments are subject to the condition that the offer on all outstanding Wavin shares is being declared unconditional and will be effective as per the Settlement Date as defined in the agenda.

Registration and voting instructions
For this General Meeting of shareholders the registration date has been set on 28 March 2012. Shareholders who wish to attend the meeting in person or via a proxy holder should register themselves via the bank or broker at which their shares are administered as from 29 March 2012 until 18 April 2012.
Shareholders who cannot attend the meeting in person can, after registration, authorise a third party until 18 April 2012 to attend and vote at the meeting on their behalf. Proxy holders representing different shareholders who received voting instructions requiring them to vote in a different way for the shares represented by them, are kindly requested to contact Wavin ultimately 23 April 2012 in order to ensure a smooth administration of voting instructions.
