Catholic Health East and Accretive Health (NYSE: AH) today announced that Accretive Health has been chosen by Catholic Health East to be the health system's revenue cycle operating partner. Accretive Health will work with Catholic Health East to enable the system to achieve greater standardization of its revenue cycle work processes, generate improvements in revenue cycle yield and enhance patient satisfaction.
With $4.4 billion of net patient revenue, Catholic Health East is a multi-institutional Catholic health system that operates across 11 eastern states from Maine to Florida. Catholic Health East selected Accretive Health as its revenue cycle operating partner following a rigorous evaluation of several alternative solutions for achieving its revenue cycle goals. Under the terms of the agreement, Catholic Health East and one of its Regional Health Corporations have agreed to utilize Accretive Health's services. Other Regional Health Corporations will have the opportunity to enroll in the services provided by Accretive Health over time.
