Acclaimed interior architecture and design firm brings trend-setting style to Wellesley and Cheswicke models in Hickory Stick neighborhood
M/I Homes, Inc., one of the largest home builders in the country, is opening the doors to its two newest model homes in the Indianapolis area. Built to reflect their owners' lifestyles, the Cheswicke and Wellesley models are now open in the Hickory Stick community in Greenwood, Ind.
Each of the two homes, the first models to be built in the community, offer a spacious floor plan complete with optional finished basements and custom little extras to make each home unique. Constructed to blur the lines between style and function, the designs showcase the latest in interior design trends and personal customization. "We are extremely eager for the community to take a look inside these homes," said Robert H. Schottenstein, Chief Executive Officer and President of M/I Homes. "The ranch-style Cheswicke and impressive Wellesley can be tailored to meet the needs of any family. A first for the M/I Homes Indianapolis Division, acclaimed Chicago-based interior architecture and design firm Mary Cook Associates partnered with the company to incorporate original design and livability into each model. "The partnership began as a simple vision. How can we be relevant with what today's consumer wants? How can we offer a one of a kind experience that impacts how they live? Mary helped us answer those questions," said Schottenstein. This is the first in a four part Open House Series with Mary Cook Associates and M/I Homes' Indianapolis Division. Previously, Mary Cook Associates partnered with M/I Homes to bring her groundbreaking Art of Space approach to design to all M/I model homes.

The two new model homes will be unveiled to the public during a grand opening event on Saturday, April 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Cheswicke model starts in the $180,000's and is around 2,200 square feet while the Wellesley model starts in the $250,000's and offers more than 3,000 square feet.
