Gouda - Royal Imtech N.V. (IM-AE, technical services provider in and outside Europe) announces that it has obtained orders through the recently acquired Turkish technical services provider AE Arma-Elektropanç for technology solutions in both two new to build 335 metre-high towers in the centre of Moscow as well as an extension of the Pulkovo Airport in Saint-Petersburg, both in Russia. The orders represent a total value of approximately 80 million euro.
René van der Bruggen, CEO Imtech: 'The recent acquisition of the Turkish AE Arma-Elektropanç means that Imtech has not only achieved a strong position in Turkey but also that we can spread our wings outwards to Russia, for example. There is a huge demand there for high-quality technical solutions, and Imtech is able to anticipate these well. These new orders are a good example of this. The size of the orders means a considerable growth spurt for our new Turkish colleagues and reinforces our position in Russia.'
Technology solutions in two towers of 85 floors and 49 floors
The two new 335 metre-high towers have a surface area of 264,000 m² and are part of the currently under-construction Moscow International Business Centre (MIBC) on the banks of the Krasnopresnenskaya district. Technological expansion of the Pulkovo Airport in Saint Petersburg
Imtech (AE Arma-Elektropanç) is also the technology partner for the expansion of the Pulkovo Airport in Saint-Petersburg, and is responsible for all electrical and electronic solutions in the new to build terminal building with a surface area of 157,000 m², including a 10kV power network in the premises, the power supply and power distribution in the terminal building, the CCTV (Closed Circuit TV) solutions, access technology, intruder alarm, and fire detection system and all other electrical solutions, including terminal and airfield apron lighting.
