Access to Multiple Konami Slot Game Titles, Including Norse Warrior™, Jumpin' Jalapenos™ and Rawhide™ Themes
WMS Gaming Inc., a subsidiary of WMS Industries Inc. (NYSE:WMS), announced today an agreement to license select slot titles and game content from Konami Gaming, Inc., a subsidiary of KONAMI CORPORATION, for use on WMS online platforms. The agreement provides WMS with access to multiple Konami titles, including the Norse Warrior, Jumpin' Jalapenos and Rawhide themed slot games, which are among Konami's most popular titles. WMS expects the first Konami-themed slot game to appear on its UK-based JackpotParty.com online casino this summer with additional slot themes expected to be launched in subsequent periods. The slot content will also be available for use on other WMS interactive platforms.
Orrin J. Edidin, President of WMS, commented, "Adding great slot content from Konami will enhance the breadth of slot games on the WMS online platforms and add to the differentiated gaming entertainment experience available to players on our sites. Offering players a great experience is essential in online gaming; and we believe these popular games will expand and improve WMS' interactive offerings, providing yet another reason for players to favor WMS' interactive gaming offerings as a preferred place to play and for casino operators to choose WMS as their partner as they look to expand their online entertainment offerings for their patrons."
Steve Sutherland, Chief Operating Officer of Konami Gaming, Inc., commented, "We are pleased to feature our great game content on WMS' online platforms, including the JackpotParty.com casino. Our time-tested content is an ideal addition to the existing robust online offerings at WMS. We believe our players who love these great games will be excited to find them online at JackpotParty.com and on other WMS interactive offerings."
