Kodak Joins [F] Network on Film Season 2

ROCHESTER, N.Y., March 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --Check the bags of the talented photographers who shot the second season of FILM, as part of the [F] Network, and you'll see them stocked with KODAK PROFESSIONAL Films. Kodak is excited to support these individuals who have teamed up to provide education and inspiring content for photographers.

"Watching the photographers and other talented professionals who make up the [F] Network team validates the passion we know exists for film, education and the overall desire for people to share, teach and inspire others," said Audrey Jonckheer, Director, Worldwide Pro Photographer Relations, Personalized Imaging, Eastman Kodak. "Our film is a tool; it's photographers like Ryan Muirhead, Tanja Lippert, Tia Reagan, Jan Scholz and Jonas Peterson, the Brothers Wright, and 31 assistant photographers from all over the world, who bring it to life. We're honored that these talented, world-renowned photographers chose KODAK PROFESSIONAL Films to use for this ground-breaking programming from [F] Network."

"When we first decided to begin pre-production for Film Season 2, we knew that we needed the products and brand that Kodak represents to the film and analog industry," said Melissa Niu, CEO of [F] Network. "We are absolutely privileged to have our talented team of artists utilize some of the greatest film created to capture their images for the content of this show."

[F] Network and its FILM Series develop and share programs, hosted by Ryan Muirhead and Tanja Lippert, that take viewers behind the scenes on a variety of photo shoots. In addition to showing the actual shoot, the series discusses all the elements that go into it, with candid questions and answers from the featured photographers. For each of the season's shoots, the photographers use a variety of KODAK PROFESSIONAL Films, including PORTRA 160, PORTRA 400, PORTRA 800, TRI-X, BW400CN and EKTAR in all formats.

The [FRAMED] team starting filming in early March as it made its way to Las Vegas and the annual Wedding and Portrait Photography International Conference (WPPI). At WPPI, top companies and artists gathered together for an intimate evening of celebration of some of the industry's best talent. At the event, [F] Network announced that KODAK PROFESSIONAL Portra 400 Film was named a Top 10 nominee for Product of the Year.
