HGTV's 'Brother Vs. Brother' Exciting Season Finale Names Victorious Scott Brother And $50,000 Grand Prize Winner

NEW YORK, Aug. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- On Sunday night's season finale, the all-out battle between two of HGTV's top experts, Property Brothers' Jonathan Scott and Drew Scott, comes to a close. In addition to learning which Scott brother emerges victorious, viewers also find out which finalist wins the $50,000 grand prize. During the finale, which airs at 10 p.m. ET/PT, the remaining team members must do all they can to impress all of the series' judges, including HGTV's real estate stars Mike Aubrey (Power Broker), Hilary Farr and David Visentin (Love It or List It) and Kennon Earl (Selling L.A.) in order to win the game. Viewers can vote for TeamDrew or TeamJonathan at HGTV.com/brothers through Wednesday, August 28, at 12 p.m. ET/PT.

The six-episode home renovation competition series pits Jonathan's skills as a licensed contractor against Drew's experience as a real estate agent as they and their teams vie to execute the smartest home renovation upgrades and score the biggest property-value increase. Each week the results of the completed home renovation are evaluated by the discerning eyes of HGTV real estate experts. While the 6'4" identical twins brothers go head-to-head to win championship bragging rights, the competing teams stop at nothing to take home the cash grand prize.

The series features real renovations in real homes on realistic budgets-and demands that the team members demonstrate sharp skills and smart choices to impress the judges and avoid elimination. The teams compete in hardcore home improvement challenges and renovate a different property with limited funds and strict deadlines. The team that adds the most value to the property stays in the game, the losing team must face one of their own being voted out of the competition.
