Northwood Investors Acquires The London West Hollywood

NEW YORK, October 15, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Northwood Investors LLC ("Northwood"), a leading privately-held global real estate firm, today announced that it has acquired The London West Hollywood, a 200-room hotel in California. Northwood Hospitality LLC, an affiliate of Northwood, will manage the hotel.

"Northwood is pleased to have the opportunity to own and operate such a high quality hotel in a supply-constrained hospitality market like West Hollywood," said Jonathan Wang, Managing Director of Northwood. "We are excited to build upon the success of the hotel by making further capital investments in the property, beginning with the build-out of the new luxury suites. This is our first hotel acquisition on the West Coast and exemplifies our focus on luxury hotels in strong hospitality markets."

The London West Hollywood is an award-winning, all-suite luxury hotel that combines the modern elegance of Beverly Hills with the allure of Hollywood. Beautifully appointed by the renowned interior designer, David Collins Studio, the hotel has become a destination within Los Angeles and a rate-leader within its competitive set. The hotel also boasts gourmet dining from Gordon Ramsey and a magnificent rooftop pool and lounge.

Following the acquisition by Northwood, Jeffrey Kulek will become the General Manager of the hotel. Mr. Kulek is a veteran hotelier with seven years of experience in the market.
