ConvergEx Group Expands Its U.S. Sales Trading Business With Two Key Hires

NEW YORK, Jan. 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --ConvergEx Group, a leading provider of global brokerage and trading-related services, today announced the expansion of its sales trading business with the hire of Sean Croll, in San Francisco, as senior vice president and Alexander Krasutsky, in New York, as vice president.

"Sean comes to us with diverse trading experience that enhances our existing broad capabilities," said Peter Coleman, managing director and director of sales trading at ConvergEx Execution Solutions. "Having previous responsibility for the cross-sale of equity research as well as program trading, options, ETFs and derivative products, we can't imagine a stronger addition to our team in San Francisco."

Mr. Croll previously served as a director and equity sales trader at Cowen and Company, and held senior trading positions at RBC Capital Markets, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, and Thomas Weisel Partners.

Mr. Krasutsky has spent the past 12 years as senior vice president for trading at KBW, and previously served as a trader at Tucker Anthony. He began his career with clerk and floor broker positions at the New York Stock Exchange and Merrill Lynch.
