Geller & Company's Olga Lech to Present at 9th Annual Grant Managers Network Conference

NEW YORK, March 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --Geller & Company ("Geller"), a strategic financial advisory and wealth management firm, today announced that Olga Lech, one of the firm's Philanthropic Advisory professionals, will provide a presentation on "Managing Foundation Change Through Effective Project Management" at the 9th Annual Grants Managers Network ("GMN") Conference to be held on March 17-19 in San Diego, California. The GMN Annual Conference brings together leaders in grantmaking from across the nation to develop new skills, deepen the understanding of effective grant making practices, and learn about emerging issues in how grants are managed.

In her presentation, Ms. Lech will speak from her personal experience as an advisor to Geller &Company's diverse client base on philanthropic matters. She noted, "Grant managers, grant associates and philanthropic supervisors wear many hats. We are often tasked with duties that require exceptional project management skills in addition to our philanthropic knowledge base. Possessing the ability to effectively manage complexity in addition to providing advice and overseeing philanthropic activities will provide philanthropy professionals with the confidence and skills to manage change, whether it be a software upgrade, a platform migration, process or policy."

Bio of Olga Lech

Olga Lech is the Philanthropic Account Supervisor at Geller & Company where she focuses on managing various philanthropic activities on behalf of her clients. She has worked at the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), the United Way of New York City and the Global Security Institute. Her first experience with the non-profit world came during her studies at the University of Texas at Dallas, where she worked for the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Ft. Worth. Since then, her passion for philanthropy and non-profit has been the driving motivation for her career. Ms. Lech earned a Masters Degree in Political Science from the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznan, Poland. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Ms. Lech currently lives in New York City with her husband.
