Linde Process Plants, Inc. to speak at LNG Summit

SAN ANTONIO, Texas, May 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --Linde Process Plants, Inc. (LPP) announced that it will exhibit and speak at the 12th World LNG Series - Americas Summit, June 3-4, 2014. The event brings together Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) buyers and suppliers from around the world to serve as a forum for industry updates and opportunities. This year's conference will be held at the Westin Riverwalk San Antonio Hotel.

LPP, a member of the Linde Engineering Division of The Linde Group, is a global leader in the LNG and Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) markets. Summit participants are invited to visit Linde at its booth to learn about the various Linde technologies that serve their LNG and NGL needs. Jody Black, Vice President of Sales for LPP, said, "Linde has custom and standard technologies that allow us to meet the full range of customer needs and requirements. Through our global network Linde can provide a full spectrum of services, from equipment to fully designed and commissioned plants."

LPP will be highlighting their StarLNGTM family of LNG solutions. StarLNGTM is a LNG solution based on the Linde LIMUM® mixed refrigerant technology or nitrogen expander cycle. The fully designed and engineered StarLNGTM package can be customized to the processing conditions and product specifications required by customers. LPP has designed the StarLNGTM family to work with the Linde Engineering Schalchen plate-fin heat exchangers and cold boxes to provide customers a single source throughout the natural gas value chain.

As part of the StarLNG' family, Linde has developed a technology that allows customers the opportunity to give away LNG and still increase net revenue. The technology integrates LNG production into NGL plants with the StarLNGL' product. StarLNGL' takes advantage of existing cryogenic conditions from the NGL plant to efficiently make LNG. The addition of StarLNGL' maximizes LNG and NGL production, turning waste into profit. To learn more about this exciting offering, participants can attend Session 7B, for a presentation titled, "Are you interested in Free LNG?", by Aleisha Marty, Program Manager, StarLNGL' for LPP. "This is an exciting time for our industry, made even more so by StarLNGL'. This technology enables customers to capture increased market share with less capital investment," says Aleisha Marty.
