New case study explores how m-creations used WSO2's integrated middleware to deliver a mobile phone top-up solution for the holiday shopping season
WSO2 today announced that m-creations, a recognized expert in mobile information consulting, has used the WSO2 Carbon enterprise middleware platform to develop a phone top-up solution as part of a leading German payment technology provider's mobile prepaid platform. By taking advantage of WSO2's pre-integrated, highly configurable WSO2 middleware products, m-creations was able to develop the new top-up solution in just three months, meeting a deadline to make the service available in time for the holiday shopping season.
The new case study from WSO2 examines how the German payment technology provider turned to m-creations to build the top-up solution for owners of prepaid mobile phones. It also looks at how m-creations was able to reduce its integration demands and cut project time by implementing the componentized, OSGI-compliant WSO2 Carbon platform. Among the topics covered in the case study are how:
- m-creations cut development time by taking advantage of the highly configurable products, such as WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus, which handles transformation and mediation.
- WSO2 Application Server and WSO2 Data Services Server host applications and interact with backend data stores.
- WSO2 Identity Server secures the message channels and authenticates service consumers.
- WSO2 Governance Registry stores metadata and shared assets, enabling the platform components to integrate through different delivery channels.
- Using WSO2's Jaggery pure JavaScript server-side scripting engine helped speed the development of REST services.
