Jack Henry Announces Senior Management Promotions

MONETT, Mo., June 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. (NASDAQ: JKHY), a leading provider of technology solutions and payment processing services primarily for the financial services industry; today announced several senior management promotions.

As announced earlier in the year, David Foss, currently president of Jack Henry's ProfitStars division, will become president of Jack Henry & Associates effective July 1, 2014. The company's current president, Tony Wormington, is retiring after 34 years of service.

Russ Bernthal will become president of ProfitStars. Mr. Bernthal joined Jack Henry & Associates in 2005 through the acquisition of Tangent Analytics, Inc. where he served as President & CEO. He has served in progressively responsible roles, most recently as group president of ProfitStars' Software Solutions. In his new role he will assume operational and development responsibilities for the ProfitStars branded products including Imaging Solutions, Lending Solutions, Gladiator, Performance Suite, Web Solutions, Banno Mobile/Kernel and the Remittance product line. Mr. Bernthal has more than 35 years' entrepreneurial and leadership expertise in software products, consulting services, business development and profitable operations throughout the global market. He earned B.A. degrees in Business Administration and Psychology from Carthage College, Kenosha, WI and an MBA with a Finance concentration from Loyola University, Chicago, IL. He lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, with his wife Lisa. Their two married children live in the area as well.

Greg Adelson has been promoted to General Manager, Payments. The move effectively consolidates all of Jack Henry's payment processing solutions under one unit. Mr. Adelson joined Jack Henry & Associates in July 2011 as the group president of ProfitStars' iPay Solutions. During his tenure, iPay realized unprecedented revenue and operating income growth; introduced four new and/or improved bill payment solutions and the division was twice named in the top 20 companies in Kentucky's Best Places to Work. Prior to joining ProfitStars Mr. Adelson held executive management positions with FSV Payment Solutions, Regulus, Choice Pay and National Processing Company. He holds a BBA in Accounting from Texas State University and lives in Louisville, KY with his wife Linnea and their two sons, Grant and Quin.

Dennis Gorges has been named General Manager, Enterprise Risk Management. Mr. Gorges joined Jack Henry & Associates in January 1995 as the Compliance & Internal Audit Manager. He grew the department from a single individual to a department of 19 during his tenure. His previous experience includes Compliance Manager at BankAtlantic and a field examiner with the Office of Thrift Supervision. He has received the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control designation through ISACA. He holds a BSBA from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He resides in Charlotte, NC with his wife Wanda.
