NCR Corp. Analyst Notes
On June 26, 2014, NCR Corp. (NCR) announced that it has entered into a software professional service agreement with Hua Xia Bank. According to the Company, Hua Xia Bank aims to transform its banking services with NCR APTRA Activate, NCR's latest multi-vendor software. The software will run on Hua Xia Bank's entire line of multi-vendor ATMs, self-service kiosks for card issuance and account enquiry kiosks nationwide. NCR stated that it will provide implementation maintenance for the new platform, which is expected to begin in fall 2014. NCR Greater China President Gary Miao, stated, "This complex and large-scale project involves the integration and running of both cash and non-cash transaction machine types. Uni-Pixel Inc. Analyst Notes
On June 25, 2014, Uni-Pixel Inc. (Uni-Pixel) reported that the Company has achieved roll-to-roll pilot production of its protective capacitive, multi-touch sensor film, InTouch Sensors'. According to the Company, it has achieved a breakthrough in the roll-to-roll plating process, and has overcome previous reported challenges through hardware and chemistry configuration modifications. Additionally, Uni-Pixel stated that it now has a fully-functional, roll-to-roll production line which comprises of a plating line at the Company's Texas facility, printing, final testing and packaging at the Kodak facility, and a manufacturing and testing facility within Eastman Business Park in Rochester, New York. Uni-Pixel President and CEO, Jeff Hawthorne, said, "Having achieved roll-to-roll pilot production capability, we are now focused on ramping overall product yields, as well as utilizing the pilot line to scale hardware, processes and manufacturing procedures, and to validate product quality criteria for volume production."
